I am purchasing thinking of purchasing a home in Pebble Beach and I am trying to budget expenses. I heard Pebble Beach has their own water company and possibly utility company? Can you tell me an estimate on how much my utility costs would be if I purchased a 5,000 sq ft property in Pebble Beach?

Utilities are hard to estimate without knowing how much upkeep the property needs, the current energy efficiency’s in the home, the number of people using the home, how often you use your air conditioning, if there is a pool at the home, etc.

The best thing to do is to ask the current property owner for an estimate of utilities for their specific property.

From our talks with Pebble Beach owners, of homes a bit smaller than that, their Gas & Electric (which is with PG&E) was $250 on average monthly and their water bill ranged depending on if they watered there lawn; this ranged for them around $100-$300.

Hope this helps!
